KATHMANDU, April 6: Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Triratna Manandhar, has proposed the government to activate a provision that compels private carriers to pay certain amount to the government for operating flight in order to provide cheaper airfare in remote sector. KATHMANDU, April 6: The hours-long meeting of the UCPN (Maoist) top office bearers on Tuesday could not resolve the internal disputes in the party´s All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF) as the rival factions of the Federation stuck to their respective stances.
As per the mandate of the last Standing Committee meeting, the top office bearers also invited the Federation leaders representing the different factions and sought their opinion for resolving the long-standing factional disputes that have spilled over into the media.
